HMG’s zero tolerance approach to racism

Dear Patients,

The Partners at HMG are committed to providing a safe and inclusive practice for our patients and staff.

I am, therefore, saddened and disappointed to say that we have recently seen an increase in racist comments and behavior directed towards our staff.  

Zero Tolerance Policy:

We have a strict zero-tolerance policy towards any form of racism be it words or actions. Any racist comments or actions directed towards our staff or other patients will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Our Commitment:

  • Respect and Dignity: We will ensure that our staff and patients are treated with the respect and dignity.
  • Safe Environment: We aim to maintain a safe and supportive environment where everyone can receive care without fear of discrimination or harassment.
  • Swift Action: If you make any racist comments or actions then these will be dealt with promptly. This may include issuing a warning, removing you from our practice list or involving the police.

Your Role:

We ask for your help reporting any form of racism or discrimination. Please report it to a member of our staff immediately.

Your support is vital to help us create a welcoming and inclusive practice for everyone. Thank you for your understanding and help.
