Depiction of a Vaccination taking place

Flu vaccination appointments are now available to book for eligible patients!

CHECK ELIGIBILITY

Invites will be sent out in batches, to manage demand, with invites being sent to our oldest and most vulnerable patients first.

Last year we piloted a successful drive-through service at Hereford Livestock Market and this way of delivering the flu vaccine is returning for 2021! We will hold drive-through clinics at the Hereford Livestock Market and Station Medical Centre.

In addition, for those without transport, we will run a walk-through service outside of Station Medical Centre for flu appointments. We ask that patients attending walk-through appointments do not park at Station Medical Centre due to the large volume of traffic this would create in our car park. If you have access to a vehicle, we would recommend booking a drive-through appointment.

We will also offer a service for housebound patients.

The next drive-through clinic will take place on the 6th November 2021 at Station Medical Centre.

Flu vaccine and coronavirus (COVID-19)

Flu vaccination is important because: if you're at higher risk from coronavirus, you're also more at risk of problems from flu if you get flu and coronavirus at the same time, research shows you're more likely to be seriously ill it'll help to reduce pressure on the NHS and social care staff who may be dealing with coronavirus

If you've had COVID-19, it's safe to have the flu vaccine. It'll be effective at helping to prevent flu.

What to do when you have received your invite?
